For those of you who are not farmiliar with The Black Horse, it is situated in the heart of Monkseaton village which adjoins Whitley Bay on the north east coast. It is a very popular pub with a huge cross section of the local residents choosing it as their local. The lounge is comfortable and pleasant, it is popular with couples and smaller groups who want a more intimate and cosy way to spend a weekend night out or may be even have a meal with the family early on. The bar is popular with sports fans and the younger clientele. It has a vibrant atmosphere at weekends and thankfully is more tranquil during the week.
